So, I finally got around to watching the LEGO Movie 2. I wished to put my thoughts into a short review. I will write a spoiler filled review later, but lets get into it.
The trailers only spoil like the first 15 minutes of the movie, so I was experiencing a ton of new stuff. The movie was fun and enjoyable, like the three movies that came before it. The visuals of the movie were stunning, and I enjoyed every moment of it. This follows the LEGO Movie formula well, and it works. The development of Emmett was well done, and I appreciated all the twists and turns the movie had. I would definitely recommend that you go and see this. For those worried about the musical aspect of the film, I thought it was well done and not too frequent.
