Dinosaur Mech !?! (LEGO Jurassic World sets revealed!)

Well, this is a surprise. I thought we would have to wait 'till Jurassic World Three before we got new Jurassic sets. We will also be getting a miniseries based on these sets. I was not expecting this wild of a theme, but let's take a look.

Dilophosaurus on the Loose - $19.99 - 168 Pieces

Alright, this is a pretty good set. I love the smaller Dilo mold; it is so much more accurate than the massive Dilos we have gotten before. The stand is a good build; I enjoy the fact that it is a massive Dinosaur mouth. The Minifigure selection is pretty good for a set this size; I do like the torso on the kid. However, what is up with the drone? Like, really? I know that the Jurassic World sets have been a little outlandish, but this is a little extreme.

Triceratops Rampage - $59.99 - 447 Pieces

This is a great set in my opinion. We haven't gotten a LEGO System Triceratops since LEGO Dino, so I am incredibly glad there is a new one. The ATV build is nothing new, but the egg ride seems like a lot of fun. My favorite thing is that the fence seems to be compatible with the Dilophosaurus Outpost Attack.

Baryonyx Face-Off: The Treasure Hunt - $59.99 - 434 Pieces

This seems to be another great playset. I think the Jeep and the trailer look fairly cool. The build for the water feature is fairly lackluster in my opinion, but I guess it is supposed to hold treasure? The Minifigure selection is decent. The Owen and Claire figures have come in many other sets. My favorite thing is the Baryonyx; I really like the new head mold, and I hope that mold will be used for a Spinosaurus down the line.

T. Rex vs Dino Mech Battle - $89.99 - 716 Pieces

This is the most interesting set of this theme. The volcano looks pretty good for it's size; the boat is fairly nice as well. The T-rex looks okay, but I really like the baby versions of the four raptors from the original Jurassic World. But the T-Rex mech? I dunno what to even say. I think it is a really cool and pose-able mech, but I do not think it belongs in a Jurassic World line. I have always thought higly of the LEGO Jurassic World sets because they were not over the top like other Jurassic World toys on the market.  I think this will sell well, even though it is an outrageous concept.
