Hey, guys. Today I have my first moc to be posted on the blog.
It is, (Drum-roll, please.) a Dalek from Doctor Who.

I built this with the Doctor Who series 8 theme pounding in my ears. Yes, I am a Whovian. And I'm very proud of it.
I think this may be more of a "half-moc" I used parts from two LEGO Dalek designs. The first is from LEGO Dimensions. The second is from the LEGO Ideas set. Even though I plan on getting the LEGO Dimensions set, I still tried to make my own Dalek.
The upper part is based on the Dimensions Dalek. The lower half is semi-based of the Ideas one.

I had to do more custom work on the back.

Here's a look at the exposed center. Oh, the eye is a LEGO Ninjago nunchuck handle.

I did everything there custom. Note: If you want to build a custom Dalek you may need the 4x4 round dish with a Technic pin hole in the center.

The upper part is attached to a jumper plate.

So that's it for this Moc. I hope you can find some inspiration in this.

ReplyDeleteThank you! I tried to base this off of the best parts of each design. I feel like I could do it better with the new parts.
