Hi everyone!
Today I have a review of the LEGO Ninjago Accessory Set .
Image from: Brickset.com
I know it's been a while since I last posted, I was at my grandparent's house, then I went camping, then my mom gave birth to a happy and healthy baby. Sorry for any disappointment. :P
The set consists of four Minifigures and has 36 parts.
First off, we have Zane, the ninja of ice.
Zane is in his Tournament of Elements robes, which he didn't have prior to this set. He has a robe similar to all the others, yet his has his robotic power source on the chest. The left side has his ice symbol. He has one yellow arm and one silver arm, showing his skin has come off.
Zane has some back printing with his other ice symbol on the back.
Zane has a really cool printed face which is exclusive to this set. It shows the left, our right, side of his face has come off, revealing his robotic interior. It kinda reminds me of the Terminator guy.
( I haven't seen the movie, I just know there's a dude whose face gets burned off showing him to be a robot. )
Zane's print continues ALL the way around the head.
Zane gets an dual bladed staff weapon and a shuriken to hold.
My one issue is that the mask is not like all the other Tournament variants. I wish the set came with Zane's flat top hairpiece and white mask instead. That issue can easily be remedied by Bricklink.
Samurai X a.k.a. Nya is also in an exclusive variant.
Nya has the the phoenix symbol on her armor. She has the usual shoulder armor that the Ninja wear. She has a really cool samurai helmet as well.
Nya's face print is obscured by the mouth of the helmet. She has a really sick set of goggles and a microphone as well.
Nya also gets a normal face as well.
Nya's weapons include a spear and shuriken.
You also get two Sky Pirates in the set. One has a really cool turban piece which was exclusive to the Snake Charmer Minifigure. He also has a peg leg, which is a really cool part to get. He has the Sky Pirate symbol on his shirt.
He gets a relatively rare sword and a pistol.
I love the belt that goes around the torso.
The other Sky Pirate has a really comical uni-brow. He also has the Sky Pirate Logo on his shirt, which I think is really cool.
This guy has a torch weapon which he can use on the Ninja.
The leg print is really cool and exquisitely detailed.
He also has the sky pirate logo on the side of his hat, which is in an exclusive color.
He has a scabbard with a set of rapiers in it. The swords don't stay in too well, so be aware of that.
Underneath the scabbard is a back print.
Oh, and did I mention the swords could be used as weapons?
Overall, this is an amazing set. I love to collect Minifigures, so four exclusive minifigs is a really good thing. I love the Zane minifig, he's my favorite out of the set. I think this is a must buy set for any Ninjago collector, due to all the exclusive figures. Normal LEGO fans should buy it too, because it has a nice amount of cool parts.
My only major issue is it is a LEGO.com and LEGO store exclusive. You can buy it here. I ended up paying 20 dollars and 19 cents for a 15 dollar set. I don't at all regret it though.
Anyway, this is a great set, and I wish LEGO would make more of these, but they can be bought at normal stores too.
That's all for know, thanks for reading!
